Netflix & Chill: Everything You Should Binge-Watch During Social Distancing

Tuesday, March 31, 2020

There’s never been a better time to catch up on all those shows on your Netflix watch list. Plus, now you can enjoy them all guilt-free, and without FOMO from all your friend’s plans. Best of all, Netflix have launched a service called Netflix Party which allows you to watch everything with your friends, even when you’re not in the same house. So, really there’s absolutely no excuse not to get settled on the sofa and press play. We’ve rounded up the ultimate guide of what to binge-watch.

Beyonce – Homecoming

Need we say more? If you haven’t watched it, then get it on ASAP. If you have, then watch it again. Obviously.

Love Is Blind

If you’re in need of a reality TV fix and count Love Island as your fave show, then this one’s for you. Not only is it completely wild from the get go, but it’s addictive and each episode is at least an hour long (great for time wasting). The premise is simple: a group of men and women enter a house and get to know one another with the intention of finding the one. However, they can’t see each other until they propose. And that’s where the fun really starts…

Brooklyn Nine-Nine / Friday Night Dinner / Schitt’s Creek / Grace & Frankie

If you want some light relief that still allows you to be checking the socials, then a sitcom is exactly what you need. From police dramas in Brooklyn-Nine-Nine to crazy mealtimes in Friday Night Dinner, we can’t recommend any of these comedies enough. You’re welcome.

Much like Beyonce, watch it twice, watch it three times, have it on repeat forever and you’ll never get bored. Seriously.

When Harry Met Sally / Notting Hill / Four Weddings & A Funeral / Clueless

Rom-coms have a special place in our hearts, and you can’t deny that the ‘80s and ‘90s really pulled it out of the bag with brilliant films. Enjoy a classic chick flick with some great soundtracks and even better outfits to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Miss Americana

Whether you love her or hate her, you can’t deny that Taylor Swift is a force to be reckoned with. Her documentary is enlightening, entertaining and emotional, but definitely worth a watch to understand the life of a popstar who’s been in the limelight since she was 13.

ANY Louis Theroux

You could spend a LOT of time binging on everything Louis has to offer, and luckily, we’ve got a lot of time. Let him teach you, inform you, shock you and make you laugh with his eclectic mix of subjects. Next to Attenborough, he’s our favourite documentary maker.

The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes / Ugly Delicious / Queer Eye

Love a documentary? Netflix can be overwhelming with the amount of choice they have, so whether you want some makeover magic, culinary masterpieces or some interior inspo these are some of the best shows to settle on the sofa with. Escapism at its finest.

Gossip Girl / You / Line of Duty / Peaky Blinders

There’s nothing like getting stuck in a new addictive series. No matter what you’re into, Netflix has it all; scandal on the Upper East Side to gangsters in 1920s Birmingham, grab the snacks and get comfy for a few hours…or days.

Abducted in Plain Sight / Tiger King / Don’t F*ck with Cats / Tell Me Who I Am

Sometimes you just want to watch something a little on the crazy side, so allow us to introduce Netflix’s most shocking documentaries. Inject a little excitement into your TV marathon with some of the most baffling people around the world. We warned you, enjoy at your own risk…
